YSL Black Opium.

Sunday, 10 January 2016

For Christmas I received YSL Black Opium Eau De Parfum like the other 80% of the population...according to Instagram anyway! There has already been a million and one posts on this perfume but I still wanted to do one, just to give my opinion on the product.

"Black Coffee – for a shot of adrenaline; White Florals – to instantly seduce; and Vanilla – for sweetness and sensuality."

The smell of this perfume reminds me of one I used to wear at school. It was a Morgan one which was about £5, ohhh the old days aha! It only reminds me of it because of the super sweet fragrance...but something about Black Opium makes you feel more luxurious and sophisticated, the scent is not too sickly either. Maybe it is the black coffee that slightly covers the super sweet smell or the vanilla that makes it feel more mature and womanly.
A lot of people say they wear this as an evening fragrance but I deffo think its lovely to wear during the day too!
All in all I absolutely love it, it is definitely more of a 'grown up' scent for me which I love and need as I am 20 in February...whaaaat!

Anyway, that's my short review. Have you tried YSL Black Opium?

Christmas Wrapping Ideas.

Friday, 11 December 2015

As I am writing this we are almost two weeks into December! whaaaat?! The christmas decs are up, most of the presents have been bought and the baileys are flowing! Today I thought I would share a few of my tips to dress up your christmas wrapping.

The paper - The paper you use doesn't have to be christmas paper, I got this lovely blue and white print paper from Asda for just £1. It kinda looks christmasy but its not your traditional bright green and red vintage looking paper.

The string - I do not think a present is complete without a bow. I didn't want to use ribbon as you never really get much on a roll and it can be pricey in the end. This year I decided to go with garden twine, I picked up mine from HomeBase for like £2.

The details -  I love adding little details to the presents I have lovingly wrapped. Last year I went with little paper fawns and golden bells. This year I thought I would add these little clay disks I made agesss ago, just to add a chic touch.

(The best bit) Chocolateee - Everybody loves a bit of chocolate so I always like to add some in somewhere. For my nephews and nieces presents I placed some little pudding chocolates into individual bags and tided them onto their presents. Its a really cheap way to dress up a gift. I also added candy canes, obvs.

How do you dress up your christmas wrapping?
