Summer Essentials: Fashion.

So its Summer essentials time again! This time I thought I would separate this post in to 3 categories; fashion, beauty & food. So, to kick it off I thought I would share my fashion must haves! 

The first being, white tops. In summer I live in white tops! I swap my thick, woollen knits for cool white basics. I recently picked this flared sleeved top from Next. I hadn't been into Next for agesss but I popped in recently and found this gem for just £22, bargain!

Another love are Birkenstocks. I had the cheapy ones from Primark last year and I lived in them! So, I thought that I would invest in some proper ones this year. I picked up these ones from TK Maxx for £30 (well, I had a £15 gift card too so technically I got them for £15!!).

And finally... sunnies. I have a decent collection of glasses now (you can see a few of them in my old sunglasses collection) but these have to be my favourites. I got them from a vintage shop in London for just a fiver. They fit my face really well and the shape is super flattering.

Currently Loving: Culotte/Wide Leg Jumpsuits.

I am currently loving culotte jumpsuits. I find them really comfortable, easy to throw on and flattering on my body which are my musts for a Summer outfit.

The first culottes jumpsuit is from New Look. I got this a few weeks back, but its still available here (was £22, now £13!!). I first saw this on their Instagram and instantly fell in love with the wide leg and dark floral. I've not figured out what kind of shoes I'd wear with it yet, so if you have any suggestions please let me know!

The second pair are from Primark. I was actually really surprised to find something like this in Primark, I love the stuff they have in at the mo! Anyways, this was just £15 and although I look like a human cactus/gardener in it I am going to be wearing it a lot this Summer.

A Little Update.

Today I thought that I would post a little update. I have not been blogging as much as I would have liked to recently because I have just been so busy, I literally had no free days for myself, never mind to sit down and write. So, where to start ey?

Driving

I've finally started my driving lessons! Wuheyy! I have been meaning to start for so long now, but I just haven't have the courage or confidence. I had my first lesson today and I have definitely caught the bug now. 

Work work work work work work (Riri reference there ;))

I have been working a lot more. I've been doing some overtime as I want to save for a new laptop and camera, to better my blog. I feel like I have hit a dead end with my blog so I am thinking new equipment will up my game again. I also want to do a lot more with my YouTube channel but at the mo I don't have the access to the equipment I need at home. So yeah I've been working loads more at the moment.

Travelling

When I say travelling I mean seeing family. I have been to see my mum a few times (you might have seen the London piccies on Insta). Next week I am going down to Birmingham for a few days to see my brother, sister-in-law and baby niece which I am super excited about!

I finally opened my Etsy store! Check it out here. When I get some time I plan on making a few more hangers, I have a few ideas floating around in my head so I am eager to make them! I am also thinking of adding them to my Depop page too. Anyway, I'll keep ya'll updated.

Aveeno Skin Relief Lotion.

For the past 2/3 months or so I have suffered with dry skin. It was mainly on my arms, chest, my forehead and around my mouth. My face was so dry that it was getting to the point that my foundation would just flake off... like I could literally just touch my head and it was like dandruff. It might sound petty but it was really getting me down. I am not a big lotion user, which is bad I know(!), until I heard about Aveeno. Someone mentioned it to me so I went out, parted with the £5 and I haven't looked back since. It does what it says on the bottle, literally instant relief (and results in my case). I used this on my face, chest and elbows mainly, the biggest result was deffo on my face. Are you even meant to use lotion on your face? Oh well, It cleared up the dry skin near my mouth immediately which was great! I didn't feel like the joker any more haha! I started to notice that my foundation started to go on a lot easier and my skin started the have that 'airbrushed' effect again. 

I have been sharing this find with everyone! I've got my mum hooked on it, my sister, my friends...everyone! Its been heavily tested so I thought it was about time that I shared it on my blog. This is just my opinion though, like I say every time, I am not a skin care pro or whatever... in fact I am far from it! I just want to share my opinion. 

So basically it is amazing! It smells lovely (a subtle hint of creamy oats), it soaks into the skin straight away, it isnt greasy at all and the 200ml will last a good while! 

I havent got a bad word to say to be honest, its honestly changed my skin for the better!

3...April Favourites.

To finish off my (attempt at) 3 posts a week thing I had going on I thought I would post about my 3 April favourites (I really like the number 3 don't I?!).

My first fave has been blogging, oh how cliché! But I have actually really enjoyed it this month. I've enjoyed planning the posts (I have been super inspired!), taking the pictures and typing away. Although I haven't posted 3 times a week every week, I have posted more than I usually do. That deserves a gold star for trying, right? 

My second favourite of this month has been wearing hoop earrings. I don't even leave the house with out any in any more! The three pairs above are from Topshop, H&M and a local jewellers, but you can find them everywhere now a days.

And finally, this little W7 quad. I cannot for the life of me remember where I picked this up, but I vaguely remember it only being a few pounds (I've linked it on Amazon anyway). I use this everyday, just to add a splash of colour to my lids. The white shade is also great for highlighting the brow bone and tear duct too.
